Samyang
Group’s facelift thread brand croquis is breaking new ground in facelift
thread along with global medical professionals. Croquis is an aesthetic
facelift thread brand of Samyang Holdings Biopharmaceuticals Division.
Samyang
Holdings Biopharmaceuticals Division (CEO: Um Tae-ung) announced on the 19th
that the safety and efficacy of croquis and facelift procedure was introduced
at the IMCAS Academy live webinar. The IMCAS Academy is a platform that
provides online courses operated by the IMCAS (International Master Course on
Aging Science).
IMCAS is
one of the top three global cosmetic societies where prominent figures in the
field of dermatology and plastic surgery share the latest trends and medical
skills. Up to now, the IMCAS hosted seminars in Paris early on in the year, but
due to the COVID-19, a real-time webinar was hosted through the IMCAS Academy
this year.
Samyang Holdings Biopharmaceuticals Division introduced its facelift thread
brand “croquis” during this webinar and introduced facelift surgery
encompassing the theory, research results, and surgical procedures under the
topic of “Croquis PDO Thread Master Class” with worldwide medical
professionals.
First, Dr. Hema Sundaram, a dermatologist from the US, started the topic
with her lecture on the thread theory of cosmetic surgery. Dr. Sundaram
compared the anatomical differences between the faces of Asians and Westerners,
as well as introducing a method of using croquis for both ethnic groups. Afterwards,
Dr. Henry Delmar, a French dermatologist and a clinical researcher of croquis,
announced his follow-up research of center-face contour correction to reconfirm
the safety and efficacy of croquis.
Lastly, Director Kang Sung-hoon, a dermatologist from Korea, suggested a
new paradigm for facelift surgery. Director Kang redefined the concept of “lift”
from conventional facelift surgery to “rearrange,” followed by a demonstration
of facelift surgery using croquis. In addition, Director Kang newly introduced “vertical
facelift” which broke the stereotype of existing facial lifting. Director Kang’s
vertical facelift technique was published in Dermatologic Surgery, a
SCI-level dermatology journal, in which its scientific basis was recognized as
a surgical method that improves the drawbacks of conventional thread lift
through customized surgery according to individual facial features.
About 1,600
experts in the medical field pre-registered for the webinar by Samyang Holdings
Biopharmaceuticals Division. Among the countless IMCAS webinars carried out in
various categories, it recorded the highest number of pre-registered attendees
under the topic of facelift thread of cosmetic surgery, thus proving the high
interest from experts all around the globe.
An official
from Samyang Group said, “We were able to realize the high interest for croquis
by global experts through this webinar. We will use this as an opportunity to
leap forward as a major brand for cosmetic surgery thread based on various
clinical results and by sharing the excellence of croquis through continuous
academic marketing.”
Samyang
Holdings Biopharmaceuticals Division beat the odds of being a latecomer in the
market through data-centered marketing and is earning trust from the global
plastic surgery field. Samyang Holdings Biopharmaceuticals Division aims for
evidence-based marketing and is making its best effort to obtain various data
to prove a correlation between operative effects in each part of the face and
the thread’s physical properties, unlike traditional facelift thread brands
that only compare and emphasize before and after effects of the operation.
